I love big families! Having only one sibling I always wondered what it would be like to have a house full of brothers and sisters. This family makes it look so fun, they love to spend time together and have fun as a family. They are so strong, in many ways. They lost their son/brother a few years ago and they do so much to keep his memory alive. The youngest girl explained to me that he was in Heaven and mom told me that the bear in the family photo belonged to him. They have it in all of their family photos so he can still be with them. Their son was born with a heart condition that eventually took his life way too soon. This amazing family talks more about their blessings than their loss, thankful for the time they had with Zachary, and each day they have now with each other. Truly a good lesson for us all.
I had a great time with this family and even though the temperatures were really cold the time went by quickly. I love when a family makes me feel comfortable, they had me laughing and joining them in all the outdoor fun in their backyard. Mom wanted a few black and whites so we went inside for a few serious shots to show off those amazing eyes. These are cute kids! Thanks family!
I love how Donna is easy going and made the photo session painless for our family. I wanted closeups that show the kids true expressions. There aer certain photos that Donna created that have a focal point that is crisp and clear and fades out around the edges, so dramatic. She did whatever we asked and more and that was wonder.
