In in effort to improve my skills, I’m doing a 365 photo challenge. The idea is to take a photo each day that corresponds to a list of 365 themes. I doubt I’ll find the time to post each day but I will try to do several a week. I’m looking forward to the assignment.
My first theme was cupcake. I was thrilled, the kids and I just had a ton of fun baking some creme filled cupcakes. I got out my camera and found a spot to place the cupcakes. For my first effort I wanted great lighting and composition and I started to rethink my set up. I turned to look for a better spot and found the cat helping himself to the cupcakes. No time to make adjustments on the camera, I got off one shot before the cat ran. Important lesson learned: sometimes the best photos aren’t planned.
